Asian Noodle bowl


1 lb raw shrimp, peeled
1/2 head of bok choy, chopped
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger (or 1-2 tablespoons freshly grated)
1 celery stalk, chopped
3 medium carrots, chopped
3 green onions(FODMAPer's use green part only)
5 cups vegetable or chicken broth ( I used FODY's chicken base)
2 tablespoons soy sauce
8oz rice noodles
1 tsp Chinese five spice powder (blend of cinnamon, cloves, fennel, star anise, peppercorns)

1.Bring broth to a boil and then reduce to medium-low heat. 
2. Add celery, carrots, 1/2 green onion, ginger, soy sauce, and spices.
3. Once carrots have softened, add in your shrimp.
4. When shrimp has cooked through and is that nice pink, opaque color, add in your bok choy.
. Lastly, add your rice noodles- most directions say they will cook in about 3 minutes. You can also just boil them separately and add them when your ready to eat, but I'm the throw everything in one bowl type :)
